We are launching a two-pronged strategy focused on reducing chronic absenteeism at scale, while increasing students’ sense of well-being, belonging and engagement in school.
California Chronic Absenteeism Network
Chronic absenteeism has reached critical levels in California, and is disproportionately high among our most vulnerable students. We unite educators, families, community leaders, and organizations to design and share innovative solutions and reduce absenteeism across the state. Together, we can build a brighter future for California’s students.
National Attendance & Engagement Meta Network
Are you leading efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism in your state, large district, or network of schools? Join the inaugural cohort of “lead learner” teams across the country to accelerate our collective results and impact.
Our Evolution
Before we launched the coalition, we supported districts, schools and organizations to disrupt predictable patterns of success and failure by embracing a liberatory, user-centered approach to continuous improvement.
